Monday
In this segment we feature ordinary everyday people who attempt covers of popular songs. We will discuss the performance and rate it using our judges Waldorf & Statler. We sometimes feature other forms of 'performance' during this segment.
Tuesday
We ask a mind-boggling question and whoever gives the correct answer first will win $95.30!! Do you have what it takes!
Wednesday
Playing all the current and future hits! You get to vote on whether to 'Keep Dah' or 'Pelt dah Way'.
Thursday
During this segment we will feature a young, new upcoming deejay who will spin for 20 minutes.
Deejays are asked to fill out the registration form and submit videos (DVD) of them mixing live (all edited music) to Hott 95.3 River Road. The “live mix” will be reviewed by Scott Le Rock and Dirkmouse “Da Bouse” and the best deejay will be chosen based on mixing ability and technique and he/she will be featured inside the mix for 20 mins “On The Come Up”.
Note: Deejays will not be allowed to bring their own music into the studio and if selected will be asked to submit their playlists (3) days before hand so we can have same approved and prepared for them on arrival at the station.
Friday
This segment will feature a sound clash between Dirkmouse “Da Bouse” & Scott Le Roc.
Each week we will select various artistes (open to hip-hop/soca/dancehall/reggae genres and can even be mismatched) and place them inside two groups. One group will be Scott’s and the other Dirk’s.
The listenership will then choose one artiste out of either group for a faceoff/challenge*.
Based on the outcome of votes cast, Dirk and Scott will go head to head in a “Tune for Tune” clash… 3 songs each.
Listeners can then VOTE for which DJ won The Clash!
