Nexcyx’ “Gossip Girl” Makes The Cut

“Gossip Girl,” the popular CW Network TV show, could soon have a new official trailer, featuring Barbados band, Nexcyx.
The video, entered in CW’s “Making The Cut IV” contest, has been named among 12 trailers going forward to the final round.
Put together by Jamaican-born film student Chauvaughn Francis, the trailer, if selected, will be featured on CW TV and on CWTV.com. As creator, Francis, who is based in Atlanta, stands to win an internship with The CW Network—a part of the prize being offered to the winner.
“Nexcyx is thrilled to be a part of this exciting contest. We’re especially thankful to the band’s fans who have been supporting the trailer on Facebook and YouTube from the moment we posted it,” said lead vocalist, Mahalia Phillips.
Scenes in the online video featuring Nexcyx were filmed in Barbados under the direction of Sanna Allsopp of Studio Caribe TV, who brought the band and Francis together for the project.
