It was Vibes Cyan Dun, and plenty Mr and Mrs Fete were present for the first Hott Carnival Safari Shop Lime on Friday evening at Becks Bar in association with Hott 95.3FM and Brydens.  The Bacchanalists came out in their numbers and Stag Beer, Monster Energy, Dewars Scotch Whiskey, Bacardi rum was in abundance.   Even the Goose was loose and though there was a heavy downpour at intervals, this did not deter the hundreds of people who descended on Becks Bar.   The lime began at 6pm and was scheduled to finish at midnight, but the sweet soca vibes played by DJ Dexter, followed by Peter Coppin and then Alvin the Soca Superman kept patrons partying until 3am in the morning.

If this is any indication of what the safari shop limes will be for 2012, one can only wonder the kind of action we can expect when the Carnival trail continues this week to Bay Tavern on Thursday, Code One Plus on Friday and Lemon Arbor on Saturday.
